A Guide: Undated vs Dated Eden Planners

A Guide: Undated vs Dated Eden Planners

How does the Undated Eden Planner differ to the signature Dated Eden Planner?

DATES

Firstly, there are (obviously) no dates, meaning you can pick this planner up and put it down as and when you need it. On the monthly pages you hand-write the name of the month and the dates in each box, and on the weekly pages you hand-write the dates under each week-day. That's it!

PAGE ORDER

The monthly pages are not interspersed throughout the planner, but rather grouped together at the front, like so: Monthly Page, Monthly Project Page, Reflection Page, repeat x 12. This is something I thought deeply about when designing the Undated Eden Planner – and it's one of my favourite things about it. Because the planner is undated, you can skip a week or even a month and simply pick up where you left off, with no blank pages left behind.

Grouping weekly pages in sets of four with a monthly page at the start would undermine that flexibility entirely. There's also something very satisfying about flicking through the monthly spreads together, then turning page by page through your weeks.

Use one of the planner's ribbon markers to keep your current month bookmarked, and the other for your current week – making it easy to move between the two at a glance.

NOTE-TAKING PAGES

These are all grouped together at the back of the planner, rather than after each month, effectively working as a mini note-book.

LIFE PLANNER

The Life Planner pages are at the front of the planner, and the rest of the undated pages follow, to encourage you to complete the Life Planner first before embarking on monthly and weekly planning.

And that's it. The rest of the planner experience will feel almost exactly the same as the signature Dated Eden Planners.

You can purchase optional sticker tabs to easily flick to each month, and if you want to add extra features to your planner, the Eden Flex range fits perfectly as well.
